Planning Small Weddings

Planning Small Weddings

Flexible organization and less stress probably make the best way to describe the preparations for a small wedding. A small event is one under 50, most usually counting friends and family. The atmosphere is more relaxed and nobody is that keen on the etiquette. Moreover, small wedding planning has the advantage of money savings that are not possible with too large events.

Instead of paying for trifles, why not get a nice dress, good food and drink and quality videography. Moreover, when the plans are kept simple, it is easier for those people close to you to help with the organization in much more efficient ways. Statistics indicate that small wedding planning causes less stress and more joy for the couple, because there is more time to consult and analyze opinions than in the case of very ample parties.

Even so, the concept of small wedding planning is very relative, because what for some people means small, for others would be medium or large. What you can be certain of is that an event intended to be small from the very beginning, has higher chances of turning out as different from tradition or conventional customs. Hence, don’t expect everybody to be thrilled about your plans because you may be wrong.

Some opinions may sound discouraging, but you should not bother with negative reviews if you are doing according to your good judgment. If the couple is happy with the decisions, then, nothing should trouble their happiness. If family members and friends are supportive, you don’t need anything more. Make your intentions clear in the invitations, so as to please as many people as possible.

Books and online guides can help you with planning small weddings, but each event has its specifics and not all ready made ideas will correspond to reality. Carefully distinguish between what should and shouldn’t be done. Don’t get upset by grins or by discouraging statements that you won’t get all those great gifts. The way you plan your wedding is your problem, and should represent you well. Therefore, without calling it a competition, event planning is a race that you want to win.
