Time For Marriage At Disney
Disneyworld is a location in which so many people get married each year and there are of course reasons for this, so without further ado let’s have a look at why people actually get married at Disneyworld and how much it is costing them.
The Wedding Chapel
All the way back in 1995 Disney looked to build a wedding chapel slap bang in the middle of the Seven Seas lagoon and this was Disney’s attempt at trying to get into the wedding business, needless to say, it worked. Disney actually realised that there were a lot of couples visiting their parks on honeymoons which was great for them so they thought they would cut out the middle man and start to offer weddings out too!. To make the public know that Disney were now doing weddings the very first one was televised on national television.
Since the chapel first opened there have been over 27,000 couples getting married here (this is over 1,500 a year) which is a huge amount of people. Considering my girlfriend wants to get married here it is actually going to cost a bit, we are living in the UK which adds up to more! (we do visit Florida often though).
Magical Experience
Getting married at Disneyworld is something that a true Disney fan is going to do and this is because you can turn up to the event in Cinderella’s carriage or ask for your favourite Disney character to turn up for around half an hour to enjoy the service with you. You will need a fair amount of money if you are planning on getting married at the Magic Kingdom, in fact on average it will cost a couple 25,000 dollars!
Although getting married in Disney is going to be expensive, it is well worth it because it is Disney and the day will be great!
