HOw to Make Edible Wedding Favours

by Lucille Green

Often couples just cannot make a decision about what gifts to present to their guests and in this situation it always worth falling back on edible wedding favors. Normally they are of the sweet variety but there is no reason why savory favors cannot be supplied. There is something quite special about a chocolate bar that has a wrapper designed to suit the special occasion. Of course hand made or fine quality chocolate will be received with greater enthusiasm than the regular type you might buy from the local store! Most wedding candy wrappers will have the details of the bride and groom plus the date and venue of the wedding which can be kept as a memento of the special day.

Some brides and grooms may even decide to have their pictures on the wrapper along with their names and the wedding date. If you don’t fancy chocolate then why not supply candy filled tins as an edible wedding favor alternative. These tins become mementos of the big day if the bride and groom have gone to the trouble of having the wedding details placed on every tin. The guests may eat the candy soon after the wedding but they can keep the candy tin as a reminder of your wedding; they can use it to store other small items such as change, sewing needles, rubber bands or virtually anything which is small enough to be stored in them. Candy is now frequently used an edible wedding favor and until people stop enjoying candy, this is likely to continue.

How To Find Divorce Records California

by Ben Dave

Geeky folks may actually find it rewarding to be able to retrieve California Divorce Records free of charge from state agencies but the majority of us are not likely to be cut out for the task. In itself, government sources for public information has always tend to be a test of patience, not least if you’re researching State Divorce Records and all the more so if you are attempting to extract California Divorce Records in particular from the Office of Vital Records of California.

In 2007, day-to-day operations at the former California Department of Health Services (CHDS) were reorganized under two new departments namely the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) purportedly to better serve the community. Public records went under the charge of the CDPH. This service is offered through their Vital Records Office which reports into the Certificate and Licenses Unit.

The Vital Records of California can only issue Certificates of Record for divorces that occurred between 1962 and June 1984. For divorces that date outside this time window, the records are only available at the very county offices where the divorce proceedings were heard or through non-governmental sources. This is quite disappointing for a state like California. The state is also one of the 4 states that do not keep track of its number of divorces. The other 3 are Colorado, Indiana and Louisiana.
